Commerce and business

Keeping business going when the power fails.

In shops, offices and small businesses, a power interruption can stop service, sales or production. Battery backup and solar integration help keep critical loads running and manage consumption better throughout the day.

Which loads are backed up, and for how long, depends on the configuration and how the installation is used.

01The challenge

Checkouts, payment systems, refrigeration, servers and work equipment all depend on the power supply. An outage stops operations and, when power returns, some equipment has to be restarted or checked.

02What the goal is
03The approach

Critical loads are identified and separated from the rest of the installation. One or more hybrid inverters, connected in parallel when demand requires it, supply those loads from solar, the battery or the grid. Roxon Hybrid inverters work in self-consumption mode, without exporting energy to the grid.

04Use cases
  1. Retail stores

Lighting, checkouts and payment systems keep working during the outage.

  2. Offices

Computers, networks and communications stay on.

  3. Cold chain

Fridges and display cases keep running for as long as the stored energy lasts.

05What shapes each project

Every unit has its datasheet and manual published, and inverter–battery compatibility is documented.

Questions about commerce and business

Can a Roxon system be expanded as the business grows?

Yes, within each unit’s limits. The higher-power Roxon Hybrid inverters support parallel connection and Roxon Lithium batteries add capacity in parallel. The datasheets state how many units each configuration supports.
